A Secret Love Story in Austin
As an Austin elopement photographer, I was so excited when Gina reached out for me to capture her special day. Gina and Colin had been keeping a beautiful secret for over a year. Their love story was meant to be intimate, personal, and joyful—so we planned a secret Austin courthouse elopement surrounded by Colin’s family and a Zoom call with Gina’s family in Columbia. Even miles apart, everyone felt connected, making the day feel warm, intimate, and full of love.

Though Gina’s family was in Columbia, technology made it possible to include them in a meaningful way. A Zoom call during the ceremony allowed everyone to witness the love and joy in real time. Even with a small in-person guest list, the day felt connected and full of energy, laughter, and love.

After the courthouse, we explored the Austin Capitol grounds for portraits.
