When Regan and Kenzie reached out, they envisioned something simple yet meaningful — an intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. As a Dallas/DFW wedding photographer, I knew their day would be one that focused on connection, emotion, and timeless storytelling. Captured on both digital and film, along with nostalgic Super 8 video, their celebration beautifully reflected who they are as a couple.

Intimate weddings hold a kind of magic that large celebrations sometimes can’t. Because Regan and Kenzie kept their guest list small, every moment felt personal — every laugh, every tear, and every look between them carried deep meaning. Their families came together to celebrate not just a wedding, but the joining of two souls who have built a love rooted in authenticity and care.
As an wedding photographer in Dallas and Dallas Forth Worth, I often see how smaller gatherings allow space for emotion to take center stage. It’s about slowing down and being truly present with those who matter most.

For this wedding, I used both digital and 35mm film to create depth and texture in the imagery. The Super 8 film brought an old-soul touch — soft movements, nostalgic grain, and the warmth of real motion. When combined, the result feels timeless, almost like flipping through a vintage home movie that will be passed down for generations.
Film and Super 8 allow me to document the day in a way that feels natural and artful — exactly how Regan and Kenzie wanted to remember their wedding.

Their day was more than a wedding — it was a statement of love, pride, and unity. The warmth between their families made it clear that love truly knows no boundaries. The day started with an intimate ceremony outside of the Tarrant County Courthouse, followed by a reception at Joe T. Garcia’s.
