My Story: From Polaroids to becoming a Texas & DMV Wedding Photographer

Photography has always been a part of me. When I was a kid, I was constantly taking Polaroids, begging for cameras on my birthday, and capturing the world the way I saw it—artistic, raw, and full of feeling. However, life initially led me down a different path. I spent years in the healthcare field, working a 9-5, until I finally made the leap to pursue being Texas & DMV wedding photographer full-time.

Originally from the East Coast, I now call Texas home, where I live with my husband, our toddler, and our dog. In fact, stepping away from a “traditional” career to follow my creative passion wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. Above all, I believe that photography isn’t just about capturing moments—it’s about challenging norms, embracing artistry, and telling stories in a way that feels deeply personal and unique.
